It’s early December, and the world has officially shifted into holiday mode. The lights are twinkling, the music is cheerful, and suddenly everyone’s either naughty, nice, or wobbling in that magical, dangerous space between the cookie tray and the open bar. The sun sets before you leave work, the temperature drops fast, and the invites start rolling in. Office parties. Family gatherings. Neighborhood socials. Holiday “girls’ nights.” Every event seems to arrive with a platter of something warm, cheesy, or dripping in caramel.


And this, right here, is when most people lose control. Not dramatically. Not all at once. It happens quietly — one party here, one missed workout there, one “I’ll start again Monday” whispered into a peppermint-scented night.
